Store Policies

We stand behind the brands and products we sell. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item within 15 days for an exchange or refund. Please read "Returns" below for more information.

RETURNS

Standard policies are as follows:

BICYCLES: 15 DAY RETURN PERIOD. 16 - 30 DAY EXCHANGE PERIOD

  • Bicycles in new condition can be returned within 15 days of purchase for a refund
  • Bicycles in new condition can be exchanged for store credit on in-stock merchandise between 15 and 30 days of the original purchase date
  • Bicycles special ordered as part of an exchange are subject to shipping & assembly fees
  • All returned bicycles are subject to a restocking fee
  • Special order or custom bicycles are not covered under this policy and may not be returned or exchanged

PARTS/ACCESSORIES/CLOTHING: 15 DAY RETURN PERIOD

  • Items must be returned in new, unused condition, with all original packaging
  • Clearance items and items discounted 30% off or greater may only be returned for in-store credit
  • Parts, accessories, and clothing that are special ordered shall only be returned on a case by case basis requiring prior approval. Special order merchandise shall be returned for in-store credit only and is subject to restocking fees
  • Labor fees are non-refundable, i.e., custom built wheels

If you don't reside locally & need to ship your return, please call the store prior to shipping the item. Please ship returns via UPS Ground or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Refund will not be processed until the item is received and inspected. Merchandise returned via shipment that does not meet the criteria above is subject to no refund.

Returns over $100 must have a return authorization clearly marked on the outside of the package or the item will be refused. A return authorization can be obtained by phone or email.

LAYAWAYS & IN-STORE PICKUP

Most in-stock orders will be ready the same business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store.

Items on layaway that have not been picked up within 90 days are considered abandoned and shall be returned to stock as property of Riverbrook Bike & Ski.

SHIPPING 

We offer limited shipping on non in-stock items shipped directly from a distribution partner. We do not offer shipping on bicycle purchases, and other oversized items such as ski equipment are subject to oversized shipping surcharges, depending on the delivery method, location, etc. In the event that we run into a shipping surcharge issue, we will contact you before processing your payment.

BACKORDERS

Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on the original order.

PRICES AND INFORMATION

Our website is intended to help you. We make every effort to maintain current, accurate prices in our online catalog. And we strive for similar accuracy and timeliness with the other information we offer here. We appreciate your understanding should any of the prices or other information provided be incorrect and regret any inconvenience such mistakes may create. Please bring any errors you find to our attention on your next visit or by calling or emailing us. If you want to call ahead of time before visiting us with a particular product in mind, don't hesitate to confirm with us that your desired item is available. Thank you!

We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.
